A number of organisations can help with accessing Play and sensory equipment, these have all been recommended by other parents or professionals in the borough.
Please make sure you check with your child's physiotherapist/occupational therapist to make sure its appropriate for them or whether it can be supplied via the NHS.

We are open for parents/carers of children with disabilities and their siblings
Our toy library collection includes many well designed toys, games, puzzles and equipment and has:
- Toys which can be borrowed regularly for a fixed period of time and changed for others when you want.
- Toys suitable for children with additional support needs.
Trained and experienced staff who can provide reliable information, ideas and suggestions about play.

Free loan of specialist toys
Newlife offers the free loan of specialist toys to families who have disabled and terminally ill children.
The Play Therapy Pods are self-contained and are delivered direct to the family's door.
Equipment
Fledglings - have a wide range of equipment both activity and practical- such as large body suits for those children who can undo their nappies

Grants
Specialist equipment is often a lot more expensive this site lists lots of organisations that maybe able to help with the costs.
Grants are money/funds provided for a specific purpose - they are often not related to income and do not need you to be receiving benefits.
Family Fund may provide grants for play and sensory equipment as well as other needs -
