Mencap’s Employ Me London programme
This is our specialist employability programme supporting young people aged 18-24 with learning disabilities or autism who are Not in Education Employment or Training .
We offer employability skills, confidence building and work experience placements, all specifically designed to engage young people and support them to succeed.
As summer approaches, we know that many young learning disabled people will be leaving education or Supported Internship provision without a destination, and so will become eligible for this service.
Mencap are continuing to accept referrals onto Employ Me London. Mencap and our specialist partners are working across all London boroughs, so there are opportunities for all young learning disabled people in the city. We and our partners offer direct routes to apprenticeships, traineeships and paid work as outcomes.
