Maternal Support Appointments
Time: 9am to 3pm

Stay and Play
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 9.30 to 10.30am - No session 5 January
Session details: A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children (0-5 years) to take part in together. If you have concerns regarding your child’s development, please speak to a member of staff.

Domestic Abuse Support
Time: 9.30 to 11.20am
Session details: Domestic abuse Support from a Parent and Child domestic abuse worker. Please speak to a member of staff on arrival or in the Stay and Play session, if support or advice is required.

Child Development Reviews
Time: 12 to 4pm
Notes: Child development review with your Health Visitor, by appointment only. To make an appointment please call: 0203 808 3380

A P Therapies
Age: 5 Years and over with Special Educational Needs and Disability
Time: 2.30 to 4.30pm
Notes: By referral only
Session details: Family Hubs provide a flexible and alternative space for children and young people with SEND to access education. This is arranged through the Alternative Provision Team (Lifelong Learning Skills and Employment). For information about this, please email the Family Hub.

Shelter Housing Advice
Time: 12.30 to 4.30pm (Monthly)
Notes: By appointment only
Session details: 1:1 housing advice and advocacy to people experiencing bad housing or homelessness through casework. Shelter can assist with issues such as: eviction notices, disrepair, suitability reviews and ASB

Cook and Eat Programme

Age: 12 years plus
Date and Time: Tuesday 20 January to Friday 24 February 3.30 to 5pm
Healthy Hounslow offers a FREE 6-week Cook and Eat programme for local residents in the Borough. Each session includes hands-on cooking and nutrition information, as well as focussing on eating well on a budget and building confidence with cooking!

Tuesday

Perinatal Appointments
Time: 9.30am to 12noon

Speech and Language (SALT) Consultations
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 9am to 11am
Notes: Referrals are strictly via the Family Hub and Children’s Centre teams. For further information please contact the Family Hub.
Session details: For families of children who are not already referred to the NHS Speech and Language Therapy Service.  This is an opportunity for families to meet and understand the role of a Speech and Language therapist and get advice on how to support their child’s communication.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Consultations
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 9 to 11am
Notes: Referral is strictly via the Family Hub and Children’s Centre teams. For further information please contact the Family Hub.
Session details: For families of children who are not already referred to the NHS Occupational Therapy Service. This is an opportunity for families to meet and understand the role of an Occupational Therapist and get advice on how to support.

Stay and Play with OT and SALT
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 1 to 2pm
Session details: A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children (0-5 years) to take part in together. If you have concerns regarding your child’s development, please speak to a member of staff.

CAMHS Consultations
Age: 2 to 5 years
Time: 2 to 5pm
Notes: Booking required. To book please email the Family Hub.
Session details: Parents and carers can gain support regarding their child’s emotional wellbeing and early relationships, from CAMHS Under 5s team. A member of the CAMHS team can listen to and support parents/ carers with any queries. The team can also explore whether any further support may be required from CAMHS or other services.

A P Therapies
Age: 5 years and over with SEND
Time: 2.15 - 4.30pm

Wednesdays

Infant Feeding Support
Time: 10 to 12pm
Session details: A drop-in session, run by an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor offering support, encouragement and reliable information. Whether getting ready to breastfeed, continuing breastfeeding, expressing, mixed feeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, or stopping breastfeeding. Please arrive early in the session.

Non Walkers
Age: Babies and children not yet walking
Time: 10 to 11am (drop-in)
Session Details: A relaxed and welcoming space to meet other families, ask questions about your babies: development, weaning, breastfeeding and play together. Each session ends with a short song or story time.

Story and Rhyme Time
Age: 18months to 5 years
Time: 1pm to 2pm
Session details: A fun music session for children aged 18 months to 5 years; singing a mixture of traditional and new rhymes for children using Makaton ending with a story.

Parent - Infant Psychotherapy (PIP) Appointments
Age
Time: 12.30pm to 5pm
Notes: Referral required Health Visitor or by contacting the Family Hub. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS).
Session details: PIP seeks to support the development of secure relationships between parent and baby. By spending time thinking about the feelings parents and babies have about being together. Families are able to grow and thrive. 

Alternative Provision
Age: 5 years and over with SEND
Time: 2.30 to 4.30pm

Thursday

Sharing their World
Age: 0 to 5 year with additional needs.
Time: 10 to 11am - No session on 15 January and 5 February
Notes: Referral required. If you would like to ask questions about this group or self refer, please contact the Family Hub.
Session detailsA relaxed, friendly and supportive group for parents/carers; specifically tailored for children with additional needs, with or without a diagnosis; including concerns of speech delay.

Baby TLC
Age: Non Walkers
Time: 12 to 1.30pm
Notes: By referral only. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS). Contact the Family Hub for more information.
Session details: A drop-in baby group for non-walkers and their parents/carers to play together, talk, listen and connect.

Triple P for Baby
Age: Pregnancy to 12 months
Date and Time: 5 February to 26 February, 2 to 4.30pm - 4 sessions
Notes: Booking required.
Session details: Whether you’re pregnant or your baby is already here, Triple P for Baby helps parents and carers who are looking for tips and ideas to help them navigate the challenges that come with having a new baby. It’s a toolbox of proven, positive strategies with a variety of practical ways to promote your baby’s development, build a stronger bond and support their emotional and physical health. Families need to commit to attending all 4 sessions. For further information or to register contact the Hub.

Hounslow Youth Council
Age: Young people aged 11-18 or 25 years with SEND.
Time: 4.30 to 7pm
Notes: Booking required. The young person must live, study, and/or work in the borough.
Session details: Hounslow Youth Council lead positive change in Hounslow, work with decision makers and have fun!

SEND Local Offer drop-in session

Drop in session for parents, carers and young people to gain support using the SEND Local Offer website.
Thursday 18 December 2025, 10am to 3pm. 2026 Dates: Thursdays 9am to 3pm 8 January, 5 February, 5 March, 2 April.

Fridays

Baby Massage
Age: Babies 6 weeks to 6 months
Time: 10 to 11am (5 Week Course)
Session details: Learn how to use nurturing touch to help you and your baby feel more relaxed together. This is a 5-week course with a maximum of 8 families per group, suitable for parents/carers with babies from 6 weeks to 6 months. Booking is required. Family Navigators - Advice and Support
Age: 0 to 19 or 25 years with SEND
Time: 10 to 12 noon
Notes: Family Navigators work at our Family Hubs to support families and professionals. They connect the community with Family Hub services. If you need help from a Family Navigator for you or a family, please contact us. To book please contact 020 8583 2991 or email the Family Hub.

Session details: No session on 22 August. Young parents group provides a warm, friendly and non-judgmental platform for parents aged 25 and under; to play and learn together with your child.

Childcare and Early Years Education information sessions

A drop-in session for parents to ask questions about funded childcare and early education. The session is delivered by Hounslow’s Family Information Service (FIS).
Prebooked appointments and drop-ins available Fridays between 9.30am to 3.30pm, 9 and 23 January, 6 and 20 February, 6 and 20 March.

Parent Carer Panel

Friday 30 January and Friday 13 March, 9.30 to 11.30
Booking Required. We invite mums, dads, grandparents, and carers to join us and learn about Family Hub services. It’s a chance to share your experiences and help shape the services we offer. The groups are relaxed and friendly, with refreshments and a crèche provided.
