Monday

Maternal Support Appointments
Time: 9am to 3pm

Stay and Play
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 9.30 to 10.30am
Session details: A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children (0-5 years) to take part in together. If you have concerns regarding your child’s development, please speak to a member of staff.

Baby Talk and Play
Age: 6–12 months
Time: 11am to 12pm
Notes: Booking is required by emailing the Family Hub. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS).
Session details: A five-week course designed to help support your baby's communication skills through rhyme, stories, play and song.

Child Development Reviews
Time: 12 to 4pm
Notes: Child development review with your Health Visitor, by appointment only. To make an appointment please call: 020 8973 3490.

Alternative Provision
Age: 5 Years and over with Special Educational Needs and Disability
Time: 2.30 to 4.30pm
Notes: By referral only
Session details: Family Hubs provide a flexible and alternative space for children and young people with SEND to access education. This is arranged through the Alternative Provision Team (Lifelong Learning Skills and Employment). For information about this, please email the Family Hub.

Shelter Housing Advice
Time: 12.30 to 4.30pm
Notes: By appointment only
Session details: 1:1 housing advice and advocacy to people experiencing bad housing or homelessness through casework. Shelter can assist with issues such as: eviction notices, disrepair, suitability reviews and ASB

Tuesday

Perinatal Appointments
Time: 9am to 12pm
Notes: These appointments are available by referral from a health visitor or midwife
Session details: These are appointments for perinatal support through IAPT, focusing on mental health during pregnancy and the first year after childbirth.

Speech and Language (SALT) Consultations
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 9 to 11am
Notes: For families of children who are not already referred to the NHS Speech and Language Therapy Service. Referral is strictly via the Family Hub and Children’s Centre teams, contact them to find out more.
Session details: This is an opportunity for families to meet and understand the role of a Speech and Language Therapist, and get advice on how to support their child’s communication.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Consultations
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 9 to 11am
Notes: By referral for families of children who are not already referred to the NHS Occupational Therapy Service. Referral is strictly via the Family Hub and Children’s Centre teams contact them to find out more,
Session details: This is an opportunity for families to meet and understand the role of an Occupational Therapist, and get advice on how to support their child’s development through play, self-care skills (including dressing and eating) and fine motor skills.

Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 1 to 2pm (drop in)
Session details: No sessions on 29 July and 12 August.

CAMHS Consultations
Age: 2 to 5 years
Time: 2 to 5pm
Notes: By Appointment only. to book please email the Family Hub.
Session details: Parents and carers can get support for their child's emotional wellbeing and early relationships from the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Under 5s team. A CAMHS team member can listen to parents/carers and help with any questions. They can also discuss if more support is needed from CAMHS or other services.

Wednesday

Infant Feeding Support
Time: 10 to 12pm
Session details: A drop-in session, run by an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor offering support, encouragement and reliable information. Whether getting ready to breastfeed, continuing breastfeeding, expressing, mixed feeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, or stopping breastfeeding. Please arrive early in the session.

Non Walkers
Age: Babies and children not yet walking
Time: 10 to 11am (drop-in)
Session details: No sessions on 6 and 20 August.
A relaxed and welcoming space to meet other families, ask questions about your babies: development, weaning, breastfeeding and play together. Each session ends with a short song or story time.

Baby Massage
Age: suitable for parents/ carers with babies from 6 weeks to 6 months.
Time: 11.30am to 12.30pm
Notes: Booking is required by emailing the Family Hub. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS). This is a 5-week course with a maximum of 6 families per group.
Session details: Learn how to use nurturing touch to help you and your baby feel more relaxed together.

Parent - Infant Psychotherapy (PIP) Appointments
Age
Time: 12.30pm to 5pm
Notes: Referral required Health Visitor or by contacting the Family Hub. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS).
Session details: PIP seeks to support the development of secure relationships between parent and baby. By spending time thinking about the feelings parents and babies have about being together. Families are able to grow and thrive. 

Stay and Play
Age: 18 months to 5 years
Time: 1 to 2pm
Session details: No sessions on 6 and 20 August. A fun music session for children aged 18 months to 5 years; singing a mixture of traditional and new rhymes for children using Makaton.

Thursday

Sharing their World
Age: 0 to 5 year with additional needs.
Time: 10 to 11am
Notes: Referral required. If you would like to ask questions about this group or self refer, please contact the Family Hub.
Session detailsA relaxed, friendly and supportive group for parents/carers; specifically tailored for children with additional needs, with or without a diagnosis; including concerns of speech delay.

Baby TLC
Age: Non Walkers
Time: 12 to 1.30pm
Notes: By referral only. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS). Contact the Family Hub for more information.
Session details: A drop-in baby group for non-walkers and their parents/carers to play together, talk, listen and connect.

Hounslow Youth Council
Age: Young people aged 11-18 or 25 years with SEND.
Time: 4.30 to 7pm
Notes: Booking required. The young person must live, study, and/or work in the borough.
Session details: Hounslow Youth Council lead positive change in Hounslow, work with decision makers and have fun!

Parent Carer Panel - Friday 19 September, 9.30 to 11.30am

Booking Required. We invite mums, dads, grandparents, and carers to join us and learn about Family Hub services. It’s a chance to share your experiences and help shape the services we offer. The groups are relaxed and friendly, with refreshments and a crèche provided.

Young Parents Group
Age: For parents under 25 years

Session details: No session on 22 August. Young parents group provides a warm, friendly and non-judgmental platform for parents aged 25 and under; to play and learn together with your child.

A drop-in session for parents, carers, and young people to gain support using Hounslow's Local Offer website. The SEND Local Offer outlines services and support available for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years in Hounslow who have SEND.
Tuesdays 10am to 3pm, 16 September 21 October, 11 November, 9 December.

Triple P for Baby Course (Booking Required). Next course starting September 18. Contact the Family Hub for details.
Whether you’re pregnant or your baby is already here, Triple P for Baby helps parents and carers who are looking for tips and ideas to help them navigate the challenges that come with having a new baby. It’s a toolbox of proven, positive strategies with a variety of practical ways to promote your baby’s development, build a stronger bond and support their emotional and physical health. Families need to commit to attending all 4 sessions.

Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) (Booking Required)
VIG is a strengths-based approach that uses video recordings to help support relationships between parents and their babies or toddlers. A trained practitioner will film the family together and then show those moments of connection back, in order to build confidence and support positive change.
Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) Team.
