Mondays

Speech and Language (SALT) Consultations
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 9am to 11am
Notes: Referrals are strictly via the Family Hub and Children’s Centre teams. For further information please contact the Family Hub.
Session details: For families of children who are not already referred to the NHS Speech and Language Therapy Service.  This is an opportunity for families to meet and understand the role of a Speech and Language therapist and get advice on how to support their child’s communication.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Consultations
Age: 2 to 5 years
Time: 9 to 11am
Notes: Referral is strictly via the Family Hub and Children’s Centre teams. For further information please contact the Family Hub.
Session details: For families of children who are not already referred to the NHS Occupational Therapy Service. This is an opportunity for families to meet and understand the role of an Occupational Therapist, and get advice on how to support.
Baby Massage
Age: suitable for parents/ carers with babies from 6 weeks to 6 months.
Time: 11.30am to 12.30pm
Notes: Booking is required by emailing the Family Hub. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS). This is a 5-week course with a maximum of 6 families per group.
Session details: Learn how to use nurturing touch to help you and your baby feel more relaxed together.

Stay and Play with SALT and OT
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 1.15 to 2.30pm
Session details: A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children (0-5 years) to take part in together. If you have concerns regarding your child’s development, please speak to a member of staff.

Family Navigators - Advice and Support
Age: 0 to 19 or 25 years with SEND
Time: 3 to 5pm

Family Store
Note: Items for children aged 0 to 5 years
Time: 3 to 4pm
Session details: Donations from one family to another. This includes clothes, toys and equipment. Collection and drop off's are welcome.

Parent Carer Panel - Tuesday 23 September, 1 to 2.45.

(Booking Required). We invite mums, dads, grandparents, and carers to join us and learn about Family Hub services. It’s a chance to share your experiences and help shape the services we offer. The groups are relaxed and friendly, with refreshments and a crèche provided.

Perinatal Appointments
Time: 9.30am to 1pm

Family Navigators - Advice and Support
Age: 0 to 19 or 25 years with SEND
Time: 10am to 12noon

Sensory Room Bookings
Age: 0 to 5 years with additional needs
Time: 10 to 12pm
Notes: Booking required. This session is not led by staff, but are available if you need any support.
Session details: A space that provides multi-sensory resources to support a Child's sensory needs, to enable them to engage in learning

Infant Feeding Support - Walk and Talk
Age: Families with children aged 2 to 5 years
Time: 11am to 12.30pm. Meet at the Watermans Centre Bus Stop (River Side) Brentford
Session details: NCT-led buggy-friendly walk. We'll take a gentle stroll to the Brentford Family Hub, arriving around 11.30. There, you can relax with a cup of tea, let your little ones play, and connect with other parents. NCT-trained peer supporters will be available to discuss any infant feeding concerns you may have.

Wednesday

Antenatal Clinic
Time: 9am to 2.30pm
Notes: By appointments only via Midwife. Run by West Mid Maternity Department

Baby TLC
Age: Non walkers
Time: 10 to 11.15am
Notes: By referral only. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS)
Session details: A baby group for non-walkers and their parents/carers to play together, talk, listen and connect. For further information contact the Family Hub

Age: Support for 0 - 25 years with SEND
Time: 9.30 to 2pm
Notes: By appointment only.
Session details: Supporting families of children with SEND 0-25 years via appointments, once per week at each of our Family Hubs. Book an Appointment or speak to member of staff.

Thursdays

Stay and Play with CAMHS
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 10 to 11.15am
Session details: A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children (0-5 years) to take part in together. If you have concerns regarding your child’s development, please speak to a member of staff.

Child Development Reviews
Time: 11.30am to 3pm
Notes: Appointment only with a Health Visitor. Please ring 020 8973 3490

CAMHS Consultations
Age: 2 to 5 years
Time: 12 to 5pm
Notes: By appointment only. To book an appointment or for further information please contact the Family Hub.
Session details: Parents and carers can gain support regarding their child’s emotional wellbeing and early relationships, from the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Under 5s team. A member of the CAMHS team can listen to and support parents/ carers with any queries. The team can also explore whether any further support may be required from CAMHS or other services.

Youth Outreach Sessions
Age: 0 - 19 years (or 25 years with SEND)
Time: 3 to 5pm
Session details: The team will be in the local area doing youth outreach, using the Family Hub as a base to engage with young people from the local community. The team will provide advice, mentoring and activities for young people. The team may not always be in the Family Hub but will be close-by to come back to meet residents and young people. Contact details will be signposted on the doors.

Fridays

Parent - Infant Psychotherapy (PIP) Appointments
Age: 0 to 18 months
Time: 11am to 5pm
Notes: Referral required from Health Visitor or by contacting the Family Hub. Delivered by the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS).
Session details: PIP seeks to support the development of secure relationships between parent and baby. By spending time thinking about the feelings parents and babies have about being together. Families are able to grow and thrive.

Infant Feeding Drop-in
Time: 12.30 to 2.30pm
Session details: Infant feeding clinic run by West Middlesex Maternity Department

Non walkers
Age: Babies and children not yet walking
Time: 1 to 2.15pm
Session details: A relaxed and welcoming space to meet other families, ask questions about your babies: development, weaning, breastfeeding and play together. Each session ends with a short song or story time.

A drop-in session for parents, carers, and young people to gain support using Hounslow's Local Offer website. The SEND Local Offer outlines services and support available for children and young people aged 0 to 25 years in Hounslow who have SEND.

Triple P for Baby Course (Booking Required). This course is running at Lampton Family Hub from Thursday 18 September to Thursday 9 October.
Whether you’re pregnant or your baby is already here, Triple P for Baby helps parents and carers who are looking for tips and ideas to help them navigate the challenges that come with having a new baby. It’s a toolbox of proven, positive strategies with a variety of practical ways to promote your baby’s development, build a stronger bond and support their emotional and physical health. Families need to commit to attending all 4 sessions.

Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) (Booking Required)
VIG is a strengths-based approach that uses video recordings to help support relationships between parents and their babies or toddlers. A trained practitioner will film the family together and then show those moments of connection back, in order to build confidence and support positive change.
