Additional Access Points

There is a separate staffed Access Point at Feltham Library operating five days a week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, providing information on Family Hub services, and linking and referring families into their local Family Hub.

What's on at your local Family Hub West

Monday

Non walkers - 10:00 - 11:30 (No booking required)
This group provides a relaxed and welcoming space to meet other families, ask questions about your babies: development, weaning, breastfeeding etc. Each session ends with a short song or story time.

Child Development reviews with your health visitor - 09:00 - 13:00 (By appointment only)

Baby Café - 10:00 - 11:30 (No booking required but drop in before 15:00)
Drop-in infant feeding support session
Run by an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor, offering support, encouragement and reliable information. Whether getting ready to breastfeed, continuing breastfeeding, expressing, mixed feeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, or stopping breastfeeding. 

Grub Club 4-week course - 1.30 - 3pm (Booking required)
A course for children aged 2-5 years and their parent/carer, giving children the opportunity to learn 4 easy recipes that they can cook together at home on a budget. Children will learn basic cooking skills, cutting, mixing, rolling, and using various kitchen equipment. Please note there is a fee of £8 per child. This fee covers all four weeks (£2 per week). Payment for the full 4 weeks must be made when booking to secure the place. Bookings must be made at Alf King’s family Hub on Mon, Wed and Thurs between 9.30 and 3pm and by the 22nd September

Tuesday

Stay and Play By The Reach Children's Hub - 09:00 - 10:30 (No booking required but for Feltham residents only)
A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children aged 1 - 3 years to take part in together. If you have concerns regarding your child's speech and language development, please speak to a member of staff.

Daddy Day Care by The Reach Children's Hub - 11:00 - 12:30 (No booking required but for Feltham residents only)
A stay and play for dads who live in Feltham with a child aged 0-3 years

SENsitive (SEND Group) By The Reach Children's Hub - 13:30 - 15:00 (Booking required)
A safe space for families with a child with SEND or those struggling to catch up with their peers

Wednesday

Antenatal Group - 10.30 – 11.30 (running on 20 Sep, 4 Oct, 18 Oct, 1 Nov & 15 Nov)
A relaxed group for pregnant women to come along and meet other pregnant mums, meet the staff and find out what the Family Hub/Children’s centre has to offer. Older siblings welcome up to the age of 5

Stay and Play 13:30 - 15:00 (No booking required)
For children aged 0 to 5 years. A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children to take part in together. If you have concerns regarding your child's speech and language development, please speak to a member of staff.

Family Event on Wednesday 25 October 10 - 2pm
A fun day for families to come along and meet the staff of the family hub/Children’s centre and find out what we offer across the West area. This will be a drop in session, all families with an under 5 welcome. A range of activities throughout the day and refreshments provided

Thursday

Sharing Their World 10:00 - 11:15 (by invitation only)
This group is for children aged 0-5 years who are on the ASD pathway and for children with disabilities and complex needs who would thrive in a safe learning environment.

Young Parents Group - 13:30 - 15:00 (No booking required)
Young parents group provides a warm, friendly and non-judgmental platform for parents aged 25 and under to play and learn together with your child.
