Baby and Me Coffee Morning

We know that being new parents has its ups and downs. If you want to meet other parents, come along to our friendly coffee morning.

Age: Babies under 6 months

Time: 10.30 to 11.30am (Starts 23 September)

Notes: No Sessions 28 October and 16 December

Meet a Speech and Language Therapist

By referral for families of children who are not already referred to the NHS Speech and Language Therapy Service.

This is an opportunity for families to meet and understand the role of a Speech and Language Therapist, and get advice on how to support their child’s communication. Referral is strictly via the Family Hub and Children’s Centre teams.

Stay and Play

A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children to take part in together

Age: 0 to 5 years

Time: 1.15 - 2.30pm

Notes: No session on 16 December

Perinatal Appointments (IAPT)

Time: 9.30 - 11.30am

Notes: Appointments only. Please speak to your Health Visitor or Midwife to book a session

Active Music

A fun, active, dance and fitness session for parents and children. This session is suitable for children who are confident walkers to 5 years and is prioritised for Hounslow Residents.

Age: 2 to 5 years

Time: 10 - 10.45am - Starts 1 to 22 October

Sensory Play

This session has a variety of activities to support your child's small and big movements, including messy play, balancing climbing and to support critical thinking. Please put your child in clothes you do not mind getting dirty.

Age: 9 months to 5 years

Time: 10 - 10.45am - Starts 5 November to 10 December

Family Store

Donations from one family to another. This includes clothes, toys and equipment. Collections and drop off’s are welcome.

Time: 1 to 3pm

Antenatal Clinic

Time: 9am to 2.30pm

Baby TLC

A baby group by invite only, for non-walkers and their parents/carers to play together, talk, listen and connect.

Age: Non-walkers

Toddler TLC

Referral to this group is strictly via health visiting or the Parent and Infant Relationship Service (PAIRS) team.

Time: 9.30 to 11am

Sensory Room Bookings

A space that provides multi-sensory resources to support a Child's sensory needs, to enable them to engage in learning. This session is not facilitated by staff; however, staff are available if needed.

Age: 0 to 5 years with additional needs

Time: 10am to 12noon

Baby Massage

A 5-week course to learn how to use nurturing touch to help you and your baby feel more relaxed together. This is a 5week course with a maximum of 6 families per group,

Age: Parents/carers with babies from 6 weeks to 6 months.

Time: 11.30am to 12.30pm

Infant Feeding Drop-in

Infant feeding clinic run by West Middlesex Maternity Department.

Time: 12.30 to 2.30pm

Non Walkers

A relaxed and welcoming space to meet other families, ask questions about your babies: development, weaning, breastfeeding and play together. Each session ends with a short song or story time.

Time: 1 to 2.15pm

Notes: No session 20 December.

Please note that sessions have limited space. If a session is full, you won’t be able to join.
To attend a session, make sure you’re registered with Hounslow’s Children’s Centres and Family Hubs.
If you’re not sure about your registration or need to update your details, talk to a staff member.

We offer services for families with:

Children aged 0 to 19 years,
up to 25 years old if they have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Age ranges are specified for each session.
During school holidays, siblings up to 8 years old can participate in ‘Stay and Play’ sessions
If a session is cancelled at short notice we will inform you 24 hours in advance if possible.
