Feltham Arts presents Jellyfish Theatre’s ‘The Dragon Wagon’

Everyone laughs at the Dragon Whisperer. “Imagine spending your life caring for something that simply doesn’t exist!” But the Dragon Whisperer, he knows different.
Each child receives a postcard with a fun, budget-friendly dragon food activity and links to more “dragon dishes” to make with their adults. If there is wet weather, you will find us in The Hub next to Feltham Library.

Feltham Fete - A Sense of Summer

2 August, 12noon to 4pm
Come join us at Feltham Park (TW14 0JA) and Feltham Assembly Hall for a day filled with fun! Get ready to enjoy live music, food, creative activities and a mix of stalls. Join us to soak up the summer vibes and make lasting memories. Fun for all ages! Most activities will be free, with additional stalls and rides charging their own fees.

National Childbirth Trust (NCT) Walk and Talk, every Wednesday, 10.30am: meet by Potting Shed Café for an easy, buggy friendly walk around Boston Manor Park. No need to be an NCT member - all new and expectant parents are welcome!

Chess Event, Saturday 9 August, 12-4pm, meet by picnic tables by Hub: a drop-in event for anyone who wants to learn or play. All ages welcome, any level fine. Run by Alex Smythe who runs a welcoming social local chess group that plays regularly in Boston Manor Park. Contact Alex for any info alexander.brentford@gmail.com

Table Tennis and Boules Event, Saturday 9 August, 12-4pm - Drop In, meet by gym equipment/table tennis /boules court: equipment will be available from park staff to use to play.

Haiku Walk, Monday 18 August, 2-3pm, meet outside Walled Garden: Join poet and sound artist Giovanna Lorio for a unique haiku-writing workshop. You’ll embrace Summer with words, rhythm, and reflection. No experience needed—just curiosity and a love for nature. Families welcome.

Guided nature and sensory trail for neurodivergent children with the Wildheart Foundation, Wednesday 20, 2.30-4pm: open to all families with children 5-14 who identify as neurodivergent. A relaxed trail with engaging sensory activities throughout with Tash and two therapy dogs. For information email admin@wildheartfoundation.co.uk and see Facebook for booking.

Go Orienteering Trails

Secret Bird Mosaic Trail
Can you spot our 7 bird mosaics hanging in the woodland (top woodland path, starting near the lake and ending by oak tree by M4 flyover)? You will see a jay, a woodpecker, a sparrow, a magpie, a robin, a starling and a chaffinch. Mosaics were made by the community and Susie John, a local artist. Pick up a leaflet with photos outside Hub to help you spot them!

Let's Go Outside and Learn

Discover who lives in and by the River Crane and craft a Kingfisher to take home. Explore the park, nature trail and collect natural objects to make a craft item. Learn about pollination stations with ladybirds and hoverflies, then start your own pollination station by sowing a seed to take home. Nature based family fun for all ages.
