Some sessions have a ticket system in place. Tickets will be given out 10 minutes before the session begins. This is on a first come first served basis. Please could families stand in line upon arrival.

See and Hear - 5 week course starting Thursday 19 June.

Age: 2 years plus
Time: 1pm & 2.30pm (two courses)
Session details: Focusing on helping your child develop key skills in attention, listening, and communication. Ideal for families who have concerns or would like additional support in these areas. For further information, email vikki.baldry@hounslow.gov.uk.
Families can self-refer by completing the referral form. Referrals accepted up until Tuesday 10th June 2025, at 1pm.

Toddler group
Age: 1 to 3 years
Time: 10 to 11.15am
Notes: Hounslow Residents Only
Session details: ‘Stay and Play’ for toddlers 12 months to their 3rd birthday only.

Infant feeding - Drop-in
Time: 10 to 12 noon
Session details: Infant feeding clinic run by West Middlesex Hospital Infant Feeding Team.
Babble and Chat (term time only)
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 1.15 to 2.15pm
Notes: By Invitation only.
Session details: This session is for children who have a hearing impairment, to support them with their communication and language skills.
Antenatal Workshops
Time: 1 to 3pm

West Middlesex Hospital Face-to-Face Breastfeeding Workshops
Session details: Prepare for breastfeeding your new baby, run by West Mid. Bookings are taken via Eventbrite Breastfeeding
West Middlesex Hospital Face-to- Face Early Days Workshops
Session details: For expectant mothers and significant others, run by West Mid. Bookings are taken via Eventbrite Early Days

Tuesdays - Chiswick Children's Centre

Stay and Play's
Age: 0 to 5 years
Time: 9.30 to 10.30am and 11 to 12 noon
Session details: A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children (0-5 years) to take part in together.
Rhythm and Rhyme and Baby Rhythm and Rhyme -Term Time only
Age: 12 months and over
Time: 1.30 to 2pm
Age: 0 - 12 months
Time: 2.30 - 3pm
Session details: A fun music session singing a mixture of traditional and new rhymes using Makaton.

Child Development Reviews

Wednesdays - Chiswick Children’s Centre

Non Walkers
Age: For babies and children who are not yet walking.
Time: 10 to 11.15 am
Session details: A relaxed and welcoming space to meet other families and play together. Chat to staff about any concerns over your babies' development, weaning, or feeding. Each session ends with a short song or story time.
NCT Baby Café
Time: 10 to 11.45 am
Notes: This is a drop-in session. Please arrive early in the session.
Session details: Run by an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor offering support, encouragement and information. Whether getting ready to breastfeed, continuing breastfeeding, expressing, mixed feeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, or stopping breastfeeding.

Wednesdays - South Isleworth Children’s Centre

Sharing their World
Age: 0 to 5 years with additional needs.
Time: 10 to 11.15am
Notes: By invitation only
Session details: This group is for children who are on the Social Communication Pathway. children with disabilities and complex needs who would thrive in a safe learning environment’. If you would like to ask questions about this group, please email Vikki.baldry@hounslow.gov.uk

Book your session now
Ask us about funded childcare, paying for childcare, finding Ofsted registered childcare and starting school nursery class.
  • Online group session (Microsoft Teams). These take place the first Wednesday of every month 10 to 11am.
  • A face to face appointment at your local Family Hub.
  • One to one online Session (Microsoft Teams) Fridays only between 10am and 1pm
These sessions are run by Hounslow’s Family Information Service (FIS).

  • Services for families with Children 0 - 5 Years. During school holidays, siblings up to 8 years old are allowed to ‘Stay & Play’ sessions.
