Early Learning for 2 Year Olds for Families with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)

If you are not a UK citizen and your immigration status says 'No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)', you may be able to get 15 hours of Early Learning for your 2 year old child.
Household Income and savings
To qualify, your family must have:
Have less than £16,000 in savings, investments, and other capital
Your total household income after Tax each year must not be more than:
  • £34,500 if you live in London and have one child.
  • £38,600 if you live in London and have two or more children.
Your household income includes:
  • Wages from employment (after Tax has been deducted)
  • Income from self-employment (after Tax has been deducted)
  • Any other financial support or income received by you or your partner
Documents you must provide with a completed Application Form

  1. Proof of immigration status - Each parent must provide an eVisa share code
  2. Proof of income and savings required - You and your partner (if you have one), must provide the following for the past 3 months:
  • bank statements for each parent
  • payslips for each parent
  • an employment contract if you have less than 3 months payslips
  • If self-employed proof of income
  • saving accounts statements

Once we receive your completed application form and all the required documents, we will check your eligibility and contact you with our decision.
If you do not have proof that you have 'No Recourse to Public Funds' (NRPF)
Apply here if you are a parent who does not have an official document that clearly shows you have NRPF. This may include parents who:
  • have applied to stay in the UK, but are still waiting for a decision
  • have a visa that has expired
