If you do not have proof that you have 'No Recourse to Public Funds' (NRPF)
Some parents may not have an official document that clearly shows they have NRPF. This may include parents who:
- have applied to stay in the UK, but are still waiting for a decision
- have a visa that has expired
Some parents may not have immigration documents because they do not currently have legal immigration status.
If you do not have official proof of NRPF, you can provide other documents instead. These may include:
- a letter from a charity that is giving you financial support
- a letter confirming that you have been recognised as a potential victim of modern slavery or human trafficking through the National Referral Mechanism (NRM)
- an Immigration Bail 201 form
- a letter from your solicitor
- healthcare records from your GP, hospital, walk-in centre, or emergency services
- a letter from Children's Social Care or the NRPF Team confirming that your family receives accommodation and financial support under Section 17 of the Children Act 1989
Fill in this application form and email it to fis@hounslow.gov.uk with the documents listed above.
If you are not sure whether a document can be accepted, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
