Stay and Plays

Stay and Play - A fun, stimulating and safe environment for parents and children to take part in together.
Age: 0 to 5 years
Chiswick Children's Centre - Tuesdays: 12.30 to 1.30pm - Drop in
South Isleworth Children's Centre - *Ticket System in Place (see below) Wednesdays: 1 to 2pm (No session 13 May). Fridays 11am to 12pm.

Toddler Group - ‘Stay and Play’ for toddlers 12 months to their 3rd birthday only. Hounslow Residents only.

Non-Walkers - A relaxed and welcoming space to meet other families and play together. Each session ends with a short song or story time.

Babble and Chat - Referral required

A safe, friendly environment with a range of activities for children who have been diagnosed as Deaf or Hard of Hearing and have been referred by an audiologist, to the Sensory and Physical SEN Team. The session supports communication and language development, offers help with hearing technology, and provides practical advice for families. It’s also a chance to meet others, build children’s social skills, and boost confidence.

South Isleworth Children's Centre - Mondays 1.15 to 2.15pm

Sharing Their World - Referral required

A relaxed, friendly and supportive group for parents/carers; specifically tailored for children with additional needs, with or without a diagnosis; including concerns of speech delay. These sessions are for children from birth to 5 Years, with SEND. If you would like to self-refer or ask questions about this group, please contact familyhub@hounslow.gov.uk.

Breastfeeding Workshops - To prepare for breastfeeding your new baby, run by West Mid. Bookings for Breastfeeding workshops are taken via Eventbrite

Infant Feeding Drop-in (NHS)

Infant feeding clinic run by West Middlesex Hospital Infant Feeding Team.
South Isleworth Children's Centre - Mondays 10 to 12pm

Infant Feeding Support (NCT)

A drop-in session, run by an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor offering support, encouragement and reliable information. Whether getting ready to breastfeed, continuing breastfeeding, expressing, mixed feeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, or stopping breastfeeding. Please arrive early in the session.

LEAD Tuition - By invite only

A flexible and alternative space for children and young people aged 5+ with SEND to access education. This is arranged through the LEAD Tuition Team (Lifelong Learning Skills and Employment). Email familyhubs@hounslow.gov.uk for more information

*Ticket System

Some sessions have a ticket system in place. Tickets will be given out 10 minutes before the session begins. This is on a first come first served basis. Please could families stand in a line upon arrival, to ensure tickets are given out fairly.
