Harmony and Freedom Programmes

Harmony
A 5-week face to face programme for women who have been affected by domestic abuse from a family member such as sibling, adult child or grandchild, carer or companion and are living in Hounslow.

The aim of this programme is to support survivors to recognise abusive behaviours, build their confidence and offer an opportunity to meet new people. Each session is separated into two halves. The first half will focus on exploring topics around domestic abuse and support available. The second half will allow women to participate in a fun activity or learn a new skill.

The Freedom Programme
This programme provides the opportunity to increase your knowledge about domestic abuse. The programme is held over 10 weeks with clients being required to attend each session to get the most value from it. The programme aims to highlight the difference between healthy and unhealthy relationships and build client’s confidence to recognise abusive behaviours.

The programme is for women who have been affected by domestic abuse and are currently residing in the London Borough of Hounslow. The programme aims help women feel supported, meet a network of people, gain knowledge to empower them and feel less isolated.

These programmes are delivered by the Domestic and Sexual Abuse Team in Hounslow. Please email domesticabusesupport@hounslow.gov.uk for more information, the referral form and to return the completed form. You will be contacted and added to the next available group.
