SENCO attends regular training and forums to keep up to date with knowledge and current initiatives
SENCO has completed the Hounslow SENCO training provided by the local authority
SENCO is confident making referrals to agencies as and when required
SENCO is experienced in making contributions/managing education, health and care plans (EHCPs)
SENCO is experienced in making requests for consideration of EHC needs assessment
SENCO is experienced in working with a range of external professionals
SENCO is trained in writing and implementing targeted plans/individual support plans
Will undertake training and obtain advice from professionals/specialists to meet children’s needs
Using assessment/screening tools to support with early identification of needs
