Getting Ready for School Information Sheets

There are four information sheets, covering common topics to support in preparing your child for starting school in Nursery or Reception class.
- Getting Ready for School Information on the importance of transitions and getting ready for school along with suggestions on how to support children through their journey to starting school.
- Getting Ready for School Personal, Social and Emotional Skills Information on the importance of developing Personal, Social and Emotional Skills in readiness for school with ideas and activities on how to support children with these skills.
- Getting Ready for School Independence Skills Ideas and Activities on how to support children to develop skills such as undressing / dressing and skills needed at school to manage lunchtimes.
- Getting Ready for School Toileting A four step outline of how to support children with their toileting skills depending on their toileting needs.
