"Meeting all your child's needs" is the ethos of our practice, we value every child as a unique individual and support them through carefully planned strategies to enhance their development.
We welcome children from all backgrounds, we celebrate diversity, we are experienced in working with children who have English as an additional language.
We understand some children may need more support then others, this is personalised by the partnership between key person and families, great emphasis is given in working together to smooth transitions as well as early intervention of specific needs.
As a local community playgroup established since February 2012, we have developed excellent partnerships with our local nursing home, church, senior citizen club, fitness centre as well as returning parents from the community.
We are officially a "Lets Talk Together" accredited setting, we take pride in being a language rich environment, as well as building children's word banks mentally through exposure to language, we also identify children with speech and language needs. We arrange small group activities focusing on chatter time, listening and attention to support childrens communication.
Every Tuesday is "Forest School" session, the children spend the whole session outdoors in their natural environment, this supports children to gain confidence and improve self-esteem by taking part in a healthy activity.
We exceed our services to the children by teaching an additional language, currently they are learning french. Parents are also encourage to contribute to children's learning by singing songs, nursery rhymes and stories in their home language.
We see ourselves as a creative team who like to take the children learning to the next level, based on a child's input we had arranged a "Evolution Got Talent" which was a great success as the children had the opportunity with their families to display their talents.
Places available for free childcare and early learning places for eligible 2 year olds and funded childcare and early education places for all 3 and 4 year olds as well as 30 hour funding for working parents.
