St George's Day Nursery provides a stimulating, warm, safe and caring environment where children have a variety of experiences in which to learn through play. We focus on children's individual learning needs to provide a wide, varied curriculum. We celebrate having a high level of qualified staff who are dedicated to providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment.
St George's is lucky enough to have access to a variety of outdoor spaces including, a large safety surface play area with a wide range of facilities supporting their physical development, we also have a sensory garden which encourages the children to explore natural materials and a mini allotment for the children to grow their own foods. We believe in encouraging the children's independence to make choices by offering free flow play and snack throughout the day.
Within our setting we implement the following programmes, PALS, LTT, Forest School, letters and sounds, physical literacy and a Healthy Setting programme. Air conditioned rooms.
