Westbrook Short Break and Resource Centre

Support offered for children with special educational needs and disabilities

Westbrook is a Short Break and Resource Centre for young people with a disability age from 10-18 who are referred by the Social Work team for children with disabilities.

Westbrook primarily provides overnight Short Breaks, but can offer short breaks after school, at the weekend and during school holidays.

Each child/young person at Westbrook will have an identified key worker who will ensure that individual's needs are met through a child focused care planning approach.

Westbrook ensures that young people with a disability are given the same opportunities that are available to any child/young person.

It has an accessible garden and sensory room and fully equipped for the children's needs. 

The Centre is registered with OFSTED and funded by the London Borough of Hounslow.

Who needs to make the referral?
Westbrook only accepts referrals for a service from a Local Authority social care team. For more information about Westbrook, please either speak to your social worker or contact the Manager.
