West Thames College Nursery
We are a purposed built nursery operating on the grounds of West Thames College. The nursery offers full-time and part time places for children aged three months to five years. We cater for children from the wider community and those of staff and students attending West Thames College.
A maximum of 80 children may attend the nursery on a daily basis. The nursery operates from two buildings on the same premises. The main building has four rooms separated by age range and with capacity of 56 children and the second building named ‘Sunflower centre’ has a capacity for 24 children aged 2 to 5 years.
The nursery is graduate-led, staff have a wide range of appropriate early years’ qualifications ranging from BA Honours in Early Years and Special Education Needs to NVQ Level 3 Children’s Care, Learning and Development. We have a diverse staff team, reflecting the local community within which the nursery is situated.
The nursery is bright and spacious with a large secure outdoor area for children to access on a daily basis. We also have a separate sensory room. We have forest school sessions weekly, which is run by a qualified forest school leader.
