I am a well-organised, happy and energetic childminder. I love my job, each day is a new adventure and I enjoy watching children have fun and growing while following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). I attend regular childcare training covering a variety of subjects to keep my professional and portfolio up to date.
My recent Ofsted inspection, which took place in the spring of 2015 was 'not met' (with action) I do not feel that is a true reflection of myself or the outstanding childcare that I provide. When Ofsted last visited I was in the final year of my degree, and had decided to take time off to concentrate on my studies. Due to these circumstances, some paperwork had been over looked and my First Aid certificate was out of date. This resulted in me receiving the 'not met' (with action) grading. This was rectified immediately, but unfortunately, although I have requested that I be seen again, Ofsted are only able to inspect every 4 years, my previous inspection was "Good".
I currently look after a lovely 5 year old, and have just finished a contract due to parents moving overseas. References are available at your request.
I provide a safe warm and welcome home environment for your little ones. I live with my husband and two lovely girls aged fourteen and eleven years old and am happy to welcome your children. I always offer an interesting range of very fun activities like; visiting children centres, local parks, farms, libraries, swimming pool, cinemas and theatres. I have a dedicated playroom, outside garden both have toys, plenty art & crafts and messy play. This allows me to meet each child individual needs and interests, as well as the EYFS. I am working in partnership with parents at all times to ensure children receive continuity of care.
