The Old Rectory Nursery School (TORNS)
The Old Rectory Nursery School (TORNS) established since 1997 provides a warm and caring environment that enables children to flourish into young adults who are well prepared for their futures. They do this by stimulating the children with a wide range of activities which are both indoors and outdoors and are continuously striving to provide and improve the quality of service to parents and children alike.
The nursery aims to ensure the children feel safe, secure, loved and parents are reassured that our responsibilities are paramount whilst they entrust their children in our care.
There are six group rooms which are located over two floors. Children have access to a resource room, dining room, a large and secure outdoor area with two of the group rooms opening out onto a patio area.
They serve a variety of different social and cultural backgrounds. Over ten members of staff work with the children, all of whom have Early Years qualifications. They attend ongoing training to ensure their skills; abilities and knowledge are up to date. They also employ a nursery cook that prepares meals which are nutritious and cooked freshly on site.
The team have a wealth of experience and speak different languages; they provide a range of activities to encourage the children to learn through play and to support them in their development.
The Old Rectory Nursery School (TORNS) has a long standing and strong reputation which can be supported by parents feedback.
