Shirisha Amunaganti - Little Vanars
Hello, Parents and guardians,
I am Shirisha, an Ofsted approved childminder and a proud mother of one daughter who is 4 years old. I live in a non-smoking house with no pets along with my husband who works for the NHS.
I offer a warm and welcoming home away from home environment.
I strongly believe that each child is special and unique and has their own talents and it is very important to support their abilities from a young age with proper guidance.
I work towards the Early Years Foundation Stage. I will be doing fun activities with children like arts and craft, building blocks, role-play, some of which I created my self ,which will make them confident and independent. I am close to parks which have a designated children’s play area. In the autumn/summer months I take the children to Raleigh Park which is a huge open space park and St. Dunstans which has lots of playground equipment. I attend play groups within my area whenever I can. I encourage "free play" . I have a communal garden where children can play with all outdoor toys.
My husband and I are both enhanced DBD checked and I have a childminding insurance.
I am up to date on my paediatric First Aid training.
I’m a member of Pacey( Professional Association for childcare and early years) through which I continue to keep up to date knowledge by completing my CPD( Continuing professional development) ,any training(s) e.g. Safeguarding, up to date regulations etc.
I will be working closely with parents to make sure the children are happy.
Please feel free to contact me and to arrange a visit to my setting.
