Green Corridor - Dig, Plant, Grow
At Green Corridor, we run programmes to help young people, with alternative educational needs, to gain confidence, life skills and social support, alongside national recognised qualifications.
Our small group sizes of differing ability, skill and age allow for young people to develop their skills at their own pace, while supporting and often guiding others. Our welcoming safe environment and staff help to support and develop each young person to look to the future they would like.
Our qualified multi-disciplinary team provide individualized learning plans, 1:1s, trainee progress reviews and parents evenings. Our qualified Horticultural tutors guide the learners through their qualification with additional learning support, no written work and trips to places such as The Causeway Parkland and Kew gardens.
Each learner will also have the opportunity to be involved in activities such as Cooking, CV workshops and Youth Steering Groups and designed to develop social skills, confidence and self-belief.
Based just outside Heathrow Terminal 5 (TW19 6BS), our education charity specialises in supporting young people within our surrounding counties (Slough, Surrey, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Ealing, and beyond) who have a variety of additional needs.

- Additional Information
- All staff are DBS checked, trained and have worked in within their training industry before coming to Green Corridor (Charity No. 1092093). We hold a bronze Youth Quality Mark accreditation as well as partnering with Youth Train.
- SEND Details
Our service is set up to provide support for young people with moderate SEND, to support them to become more independent and hopefully into the world of work. We have a large, welcoming locked site that hosts groups of 6 young people to 1 tutor, with additional support staff available. Each young person gets a weekly 1:1 with our youth mentor, with additional support when necessary.
We are an active site with wheelchair ramps into/out of the main building and around our plots but the site can be unlevel in areas. We would need to asses on an individual basis to see if our provision is suitable for the young person.
