Physical Theatre and Movement workshop

Support offered for children with special educational needs and disabilities

A 1 hour session exploring different acting techniques through the use of movement. The session will help improve upon each individuals inner confidence, social skills and physical fitness. Each week we shall work on material to showcase within the local community. 

Participants will need to be able to manage their own behaviour. Dramatize shall not provide any personal care within this session, however we welcome parents/carers to stay and support their young person.

Dramatize is a theatre company for individuals with learning disabilities. We run theatrical workshops, performances & events exploring different theatrical mediums, breaking barriers within society.


Dramatize work with a range of different levels of ability, providing care and support, to ensure the theatre industry is accessible to all. Dramatize encourages our service users to believe in themselves, to develop and to achieve the unexpected. Within our workshops we will use Makaton and PEC's as well as other aids encouraging communication and creativity.
