River Thames Boat Project

River Thames Boat Project is a registered charity that gives people of all ages the chance to access the Thames, to discover this fascinating river, and to learn more about its environment. Our specially adapted community boats, the Thames Venturer and the Thames Discoverer, provide day and residential cruises for people of all ages and abilities from our mooring in Kingston upon Thames, and are also used as floating classrooms by local schools.

Relying mainly on grants and voluntary donations, we offer heavily subsidised voyages tailored to the needs and interests of children and adults with disabilities, community organisations, schools and adult education colleges, as well as individuals who are not part of any group.
