SEND information

SEND Details

We try to include children with a special educational need or a disability in the usual group activities and have several children with SEND in the group. We usually discuss with a parent how the child will be supported at group meetings. Often support is provided by a parent or a paid carer. In the past we have been able to support a parent's application for funding from the local authority to pay for a carer.

The venue where we meet has restricted access for children with SEND. A newly refurbished building has wheelchair access, disabled access via the main door and an accessible toilet. However, the older, main building has no facilities for children with SEND.
