Other Education Provision- general and special services

General education information

The family services directory has other sections containing general education and learning information.  Some of which may also be useful for children with SEND.

Where services say they offer specific SEND support there will be a green triangle with SEND in the top right corner of a listing...

Please note these are put by the supplier/service and are not checked by the directory.

The main schools section for the council can be found here.

Youth Offending Service

Is a multi-agency team made up of staff from children's services, the police, the probation service and the health service.

The services work together to reduce crime by children and young people aged 10-17 years old, and provide supervision for those young people who have been warned by the police, or who have been sentenced by the court.

They will undertake SEN assessments and work with a child or Young persons EHCP. Further information on the service can be found here.
