COVID-19 Support for children and young people with Hearing Impairment

Local Support

The Teachers of the Deaf and Specialist Practitioner in the Hearing Impairment Team are not currently visiting families or schools.

Where sufficient information is not available about your child and their needs, other methods are being used to gather this. Either by phone or by a virtual meeting and using adapted reporting templates to communicate more concisely whilst still containing the essential information about your child or young person’s needs, provision, and outcomes.

This also may include establishing virtual advisory panels by a secure virtual meeting platform to assist with decision-making.

They can be contacted if parents or pupils have any questions or concerns, and are able to give ideas for useful activities and send resources if requested. Please email enquiries.senss@hounslow.gov.uk and your mail will be sent to the relevant member of staff.
