For parents and carers there are support groups in Hounslow and also national helplines for many conditions and also other organisations that can be helpful if you are looking for advice and support.

Parent Carers Forum

Get together with other parents of young people (0 to 25 years) with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Hounslow parent carers’ forum is a friendly group of parents who meet once a month to discuss SEND issues such as health, education and employment.

Family Matters Support

Family Matters supports parents in Hounslow. A Parent Support Worker will provide practical support, advice and information, through intelligent signposting to families with children with disabilities and/or additional needs who are feeling under pressure or experiencing difficulties.

Our Barn Community Carers Support Group

Drop-in sessions are suitable for anyone who has an unpaid caring role or claims Carers Allowance.
