Youth Support
Young Carers
Young carers are young people under 18 years who are looking after or supporting someone at home who, through illness, disability, substance dependency or mental health issues is unable to care for themselves.
The Hounslow young carers project offers support and advice to young carers as well as activities in the school holidays and a weekly youth club. The project is a chance for the young carers to have a break from their caring role and for them to meet other young carers who are in a similar situation.
