A Christmas Tale Thursday 12 December to Sunday 29 December. A Live Radio Play at Boston Manor House (TW8 9JX). Three Christmas stories - Charles Dickens' The Chimes, The Brothers Grimms' The Elves and The Shoemaker, and the Eastern European legend of The Christmas Spider.

London Museum of Water & Steam New Year Steam Up 30 to 31 December 10am to 4.30pm

Heritage Bus Experience A Classic Routemaster Bus will run between the London Museum of Water & Steam and Kempton Steam Museum on both days. The ride will take 30mins.

Depart London Museum of Water and Steam (Entrance gates in Green Dragon Lane)

Hampton Kempton Railway (Hanworth) Santa will be sleighing into the railway this Christmas on the weekends of 14-15 and 21-22 December, 3.30pm to 7.30pm (advanced booking only).

Hounslow Urban Farm, (TW14 0LZ). Santa will arriving to turn on the Christmas tree lights (If a certain green Christmas hater lets him). December 22 at 4pm. Email: Hounslow Urban Farm for more details.

The London Museum of Water and Steam presents Santa at the Museum on the weekends of 14-15, and 21-22 December

Bedfont Lakes Christmas Grotto 14,15,20 to 23 December. 1 hour time slots 10-11am, 11am-12pm, 1.30-2.30pm and 2.30-3.30pm. SEN session on the 21 December 10-11am. – An opportunity to meet Santa, decorate biscuits in our elves workshop, undertake a winter trail and see our animals for £10 per child.
