Understanding your children's Mental Health (Booking Code ZZ399MTA) - Wednesdays 5.30 to 7.30 Online 24 September to 19 November 2025.
On this course you will:
  • Explore the world from your child's perspective.
  • Learn how to read your child's emotions
  • How outside factors can influence your child's well-being.
  • Ways to connect with your child that will support their emotional well-being ad resilience.

Keeping your children safe online (booking Code ZZ399MUA) - Wednesdays 5.30 to 7.30 Online 24 September to 15 October 2025.
This course will support parents and carers to understand the advantages and risks of the internet on their children's development plus develop strategies to eliminate these risks.

Supporting children's emotional development (Booking Code ZZ199MSA) - Mondays 5.30 to 7.30 Online 22 September to 17 November 2025.
This course will support emotional attachment and security within the family. Lear ways to improve your child's ability to successfully manage emotions and enhance their self-esteem.

Family Links Parenting Programme at your local Children's Centres and Family Hubs

For families with children aged 0-5 years. Learn effective ways to understand and manage your child's feelings and behaviour. To register or learn more, please email: familyhub@hounslow.gov.uk.

Triple P for Baby: Supporting Parents and Babies Together!

Triple P for Baby is here to help families have a positive start to parenthood. It supports new parents as they care for their baby during their first year. The program focuses on gentle and caring ways to connect with your baby and make their early days special.
Families who complete the program will receive a free voucher as a thank-you gift!

  • Parents get to join fun activities and learn helpful tips to:
  • Build a strong, loving bond with their baby.
  • Help their baby grow and learn new things.
  • Teach their baby good habits in a caring way.
How does it work?
The program includes group and one-on-one sessions:
  • Four group sessions: Parents come together in a small group to share and learn.
  • Four individual sessions: Parents get extra help to solve problems and practice skills at home.
Who can join?
Triple P for Baby is for parents who:
  • Are expecting a baby or have a baby under 12 months old.
  • Feel a little worried or need some emotional support.
  • Are not already part of the MECSH program or Family Nurse Partnership.
  • Can attend all eight sessions.
What are the goals?
  • Boost Positive Parenting Skills: To help parents feel confident and keep both parent and baby happy.
  • Strengthen Family Support: To bring families closer together and improve well-being.
  • Prevent Mental Health Issues: To help parents handle challenges and stay emotionally strong.

The 123 Magic Behaviour Management Programme
A programme for parents and carers of children aged 2 - 12 years diagnosed with ADHD or display challenging behaviour. Easy to follow steps to manage challenging behaviour with reason, patience and compassion.

The programme provides simple tools for controlling / managing unacceptable behaviour such as:
  • testing and manipulative behaviour such as whining, badgering, physical attacks, swearing, aggression
  • Encouraging positive behaviour:
    • morning and bedtime routines,
    • eating meals,
    • household chores,
    • cleaning up after themselves
  • Strengthening the child - parent relationship (and building your child’s self-esteem)

Surviving Your Adolescents
A programme for parents of children aged 13-18 years exhibiting frequent challenging behaviour both in and out of the home. Increasing the parents’ and carers’ ability to communicate and to reduce the risks that the young people face.
  • Learn how to manage and understand teen risk-taking
  • Discuss problems to let go of as a parent
  • Consider how your relationship affects your teen’s safety ·
  • Be introduced to an array of services which can offer further support
  • Feel empowered to engage with your teenager

Let’s Talk. A 12 week programme for children and mothers affected by domestic violence.

Supporting children, to process their experiences and begin the healing process. Also for mothers to understand how to help and communicate with their children.
We run groups for Infants (year 1-3), Juniors (year 4-6) and teens (years 7-8 or years 8-9).
