Museums in London
Many museums such as the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, British Museum Tate Gallery and Tate Modern are free they do ask for a donation but this is based on what you can afford. At the Tate they have free family workshops. The British Museum offer families a range of free gallery activities.
Exhibitions are usually chargeable. Some offer free places for children with a paying adult. However, don't worry if you cant afford an exhibition the museums have so much to view, you wont be disappointed.
Many offer bookings for a time slot to suit you so you are not stuck in long queues.

If you are on state benefits such a Universal Credits you can get discounted tickets at many tourist attractions around London.
