Safer Sleeping
Course Outline
Stay confident and compliant with the latest EYFS 2026 safer sleeping guidance in this concise bitesize session. Designed for childminders, this training provides a clear overview of current expectations to reduce the risk of sudden infant death and promote safe sleep practices in all settings.
You’ll explore key updates, including creating a safe sleep environment, appropriate use of sleep spaces, supervision requirements, and how to work in partnership with families to ensure consistency of care. The session also highlights risk factors, responsive practice, and professional responsibilities for maintaining children’s safety at rest.
