We support early years providers to deliver inclusive, high-quality care for children aged 0–5 with SEND.
Each setting has a SEN Advisory Teacher; each childminder has a SEN Specialist Practitioner
We offer advice, training, and practical support on inclusion, SEND, and transitions
We promote collaboration between settings, families, health services, and schools
We signpost to services via the Local Offer

Oral Health

NHS dental treatment is free for children and young people under 18. It is also free for people who meet certain criteria.

Infants should:
  • start seeing a dentist as soon after their first teeth appear
  • Visit a dentist often
  • Brush teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. Fluoride helps to strengthen and protect teeth
  • Cut down on sugary foods and drink
