The overall aim of the course is for childminders to be confident in:
- Knowing their responsibilities towards their assistants
- Knowing what safer recruitment practices must be followed
- Understanding the requirements for supervisions and supporting assistants with CPD
On this course you will
- Explore the safer recruitment practices
- Consider how you share your ethos and curriculum planning with your assistants
- Explore what Ofsted are looking for when they inspect you and your assistants
- Think about completing your own self audit on your assistant’s recruitment process
