Next Gen Programme (Secondary) 12 to 16 years

Next Gen is part of the Department of Education funded HAF Programme created to ensure 12-16 year olds are entitled to benefits related free school meals have the opportunity to participate in exciting experiences and access to spaces to work out and get food while they are there.
Hounslow are excited to be able accommodate a range of offers such as gym sessions, swimming, basketball, martial arts, lifesaving, youth club and more. Young people can access 16 days of activities over the summer period and 4 days over Easter and 4 days over Winter
All providers will be expected to meet the requirements below:
  • A healthy balanced meal each session
  • An opportunity for nutritional education
  • Taking part in fun and engaging experiences
  • Help and advice on any other services that might be helpful to you

Lampton Leisure 12-16 GYM/SWIM

Join us each week, for a series of engaging gym sessions designed specifically for 12 to 16 year olds. These sessions are not only fun and interactive but also cater to those eligible for free school meals. An Introduction to the gym. Our experienced trainers will guide you through a series of introductory exercises and provide valuable tips to help you feel confident and comfortable in the gym. Participants will also be able to come and enjoy the use of our swimming pools. *Gym session can be accessed from 12pm

By signing up to the NextGen programme, you will have the chance to support activities, develop your leadership skills and gain valuable work experience that can support future youth employment opportunities. EduKicks Martial Arts

Join EduKicks this summer for an action-packed martial arts programme designed to build confidence, discipline and physical fitness in a fun and inclusive environment. Led by internationally qualified, DBS-checked coaches, children will enjoy dynamic martial arts sessions, team challenges and an introduction to the foundations of martial arts. Kidwise The Next Gen Programme

The Next Gen Programme is designed specifically for teenagers, Next Gen focuses on building confidence, independence, leadership and future-ready skills through engaging, practical activities and discussions. Throughout the programme, young people will explore four exciting themes.

Heston in the Community

Heston in the Community welcomes young people to an exciting and action-packed summer programme full of sports, creativity, adventure and unforgettable experiences. Young people will enjoy a wide range of engaging activities including, Football and multi-sports, wellbeing sessions, Mentoring and personal development support, Music studio experiences, Arts and crafts, Tie-dye and slime making, Karaoke, quizzes, and gaming room, food preparation, trips to thorpe park and sports stadiums. Our camps are designed to help young people stay active, make new friends, build confidence, develop new skills and create lasting summer memories in a safe and welcoming environment.
