Story and Rhyme Time at Meadowbank Library

Monday 20 July. Session 1 - 11am to 12 noon. Session 2 - 1.30 to 2.30pm

Come along to meet all the teams that offer support to families here in the borough.

Best Start Family Fun Day

Get ready for a day of making memories and enjoying a wide range of free fun-filled activities for all ages. Including: Face painting -Bouncy castle - Sports games - Football - Petting zoo - Sensory zone - Music and much more. You can turn up on the day or register in advance.

Park Walks - 11am to 1pm

A great opportunity for parents and children between 0-5 years (with siblings up to 8 years) to enjoy being outdoors, join in with some activities and rhymes (including scavenge hunts etc); explore the local area, meet new people, and gain support from Children’s Centre Practitioner's. Bring a picnic and blanket along with you when attending the Park Walk's.
Wednesday 12 August, Osterley Park - Meet at the Café.
Thursday 20 August, Heston Park - Meet at the playground entrance.
Friday 28 August, Waye Avenue Park - Meet at the playground entrance.

Sharing Their World - referral required

A relaxed, friendly and supportive group for parents/carers; specifically tailored for children with additional needs, with or without a diagnosis; including concerns of speech delay. These sessions are for children from birth to 5 Years, with SEND. If you would like to self-refer or ask questions about this group, please contact familyhub@hounslow.gov.uk.
Age: 0 to 5 years with additional needs
Cranford - Fridays 1 to 2pm - No session 28 August

Baby and Toddlers

Rhythm and Rhyme - for babies 0-12 months
A fun music session; singing a mixture of traditional and new rhymes, using Makaton.
Beavers
Mondays 10 to 11am.
Baby and Toddler Groups
A relaxed and welcoming space to meet other families. Get advice about development, weaning, breastfeeding etc. Each session ends with a short song or story.
Midsummer Park
Wednesday 1 to 2pm (0 to 18 months)
Friday 10 to 11am (for children up to their 2nd Birthday)
Cranford
Friday 10 to 11 am (for children up to their 2nd Birthday)

Stay and Plays - 0 to 5 years

A welcoming session for parents, carers, and young children to play and learn together. Enjoy a range of activities in a safe space, with adults encouraged to join in. Connect with other families and staff while supporting early learning, social skills, and confidence. Speak to a member of staff if you have concerns about your child’s development.
