Introduction to Forest School Day

This is a day where you can discover what Forest School is and how you can introduce it into your practice. The day will start with a classroom session where you will learn about Forest School, its ethos, aims and history. Health and Safety will also be covered to ensure you know how to keep yourself and your children safe.

In the afternoon you will learn a range of low-level activities that can be delivered in any environment. You will learn how to differentiate the activities and how they are suitable for different schemas. The activities are all budget friendly with little or no cost to run them. The afternoon will be spent outside, therefore please wear suitable clothes for the outdoors and the forecasted weather conditions to ensure you have a positive learning experience. Please bring your own lunch.
