Target audience:

Course outline:
No matter how much you try to understand the behaviour of a child with SEND, have you ever experienced situations that have you thinking: ‘there is no pattern to the behaviour, it just happens out of the blue’ or ‘I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to work’. If so, then this session might help you to consider how best to observe, analyse and/or interpret the behaviour of children with SEND.

There will be opportunity to consider commonly occurring behaviours that may challenge and what these behaviours might be conveying.
